I always think about this too. My hands are always itchy after I spend a lot of time in the kids room at my library where I work....and I have seen kids doing gross things like picking their noses. Ugh. I sanitize my hands constantly. They are cute but they are carriers! lol

Thanks, though most of what I've posted is school or work related. This was a pretty honest post, or personal post. Most of my stuff is either storytime related or for my final project. Maybe once I finish my project, I'll have more time for fun stuff. Sarah

I too love to talk so don't fee bad. I'm totally with you on the new hobbies thing. I'm currently trying not to buy resin and start making my own jewelry. Who will win out my craftiness or practicality(not spelled rite I no) the world may never know.

My son shares your same favorite book. His screen name is Enderfan (with a bunch of numers after it I can never remember.) Our family vacation motto is: "It's not a real vacation until we're lost." We've never been lost in a jungle, but we were lost in Walt Disney World's parking lot--could not find the way out. I will never live that one down!

Believe me when I write that it works both way. I started blogging at the behest of friends who loved the stories I told about the Library. I never thought that anyone would actually read the thing. As far as cool goes... I think that everyone wants to be "cool" at some level. These days I'm just trying to keep my sanity. The coolest person I ever knew was my father's father... He was as witty as Oscar Wilde and in his youth was the world featherweight boxing champ. Be Well!

My snakes are such sweeties, they basically sleep most of the time, hiding under their bark. They just come out when I drag them out to play. I understand being scared of snakes in the wild, but these beauties are captive bred all the way. They just explore around my hands, and spend lots of time sleeping.

Thanks, as far as I know there is still no power--which makes me wonder if I will ever be able to get replacement mice for the snakes!
